[North Taiwan] Rubber duck swims to Keelung

What this rubber duck could bring and influence? It's interesting that 3 cities in Taiwan were actively inviting duck to visit , yes, he is cute, but won't it too much and get too much public attention?  The beauty of the place could be seen by the view of people is seeing the duck, but the beauty of the place has existed for long, not because of this yellow rubber duck is there. 

Keelung is biggest port in the North of Taiwan, a pretty place to gataway from busy life in Taipei. And it's one of the best place to find fresh sea food with reasonable price. Also can't forget to mention about its famous night market (Miao Ko night market), with delicious food that you could pay with coins. Several great sites are worthy to visit, Ho-ping island, Ye-Liuo, Jio Fen, Ging-Shen, Wan-Li, Ho-Tong.

Taipei is same as other international big cities, awesome for having fun nightlife time. Today to celebrate X'mas (Christmas time is more to have fun gathering with friends, not much into religion meanings for most of locals), we came to this fashion cuisine: Fourplay Cuisine.

This fashion restaurant & bar is funded by  4 expertise bartenders, so the name comes as Fourplay.

Very recommend to start the night with fresh fruit cocktail, just tell the bartender the favor you like, sweet, a little sour, dry, or what fruit you like, and they will bring you the magic drinks

 Mine is grape juice mix with lemon and gin, like it!

Not just a bar, the food Fourplay serve is pretty yummy.

The chicken wings which can make your mouth on fire ! Only for those who likes spicy food, hummm, very spicy but I love it!

[North Taiwan] Reed swings with the wind..蘆葦隨風搖曳時

When season fall arrives, we usually automatically link it to lonely feelings, leaves falling and getting cold? nah...I am thinking about the beautiful scene of reed swings with the wind, and the sweet fresh delicious crab season!

Isn't it beautiful? This picture was taken on the road#102, nearly to the boundry of Jio-Fen (九份) and Shuan-Xi(雙溪).

[Fun Camping] Hsin-Chu 天湖農園

Go camping is one of our favorite activitiy during weekends especially in Spring and Fall when the mountains are decorated by colorful flowers and trees.
This time we chose 天湖農園 to build our weekend villa. This camping place is located in Hsin-Chu, Village Gien-Shui, where is about 2 hurs by car from Taipei. The weather is pleasant and perfect for outdoor! The first thing we do upon arrival is to talk to the owner of land and choose the place to put our camp. Without any douts, Jesse and I choose the "grace area", why? we love to gettinmg close to the natual and land. the feel of step on the fresh grace is imcomparable!



The next thing to do is to open our frige and enjoy.....

[Island- Peng Hu] Go to Peng-Hu and get tanned 澎湖菊島曬太陽

The recommended season to take a trip to Peng-Hu is from April to October, it is so easy to enjoy here in summer time, especially if you love taking sun-bath, eating sea food and all kinds of water sport. Very windy and cold in the winter time, guess it's for the residents here to enjoy some quiet private time..

Peng-Hu is a sizable chain, with 64 islands, the general tour with conveneint transportation is surranded by 4 main island, Peng-Hu main island, Ji Bei, Wang An, Qi Mei. You'll have to take plane to reach Peng-Hu main island, takes around 40min by air, and by boat and another boat to other smaller islands. It's all worthy when you take the first step on and feel the white beach.


The best way to travel at this island, is to land a scooter, and try every road and every beach! (still need the map to help)
